My first invitation came from Norfolk, 'The Horse Rescue Fund'.
They are a small charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses and donkeys. Kate the yard manager and her staff were very welcoming. They had 15 horses on site, all with different personalities and stories to tell.
It was heart warming to see the change in the horses when love, time and patience is given. Each horse is unique in its journey like ourselves.
When ready many are rehomed and welcomed into loving families, where they can enjoy their new life and allow their personalities to shine.
One unusual case they have at present is a male cob named 'Trooper'. He was discovered to have five hooves on his rescue. You can read his story by clicking on the link below.
Sponsorship and funds are needed to help the horses and 'Trooper' with ongoing medical decisions, potential treatments to help and assist him to have a happier and healthier life. If you feel you can help then please do!
